In a last ditch attempt to solve this sales problem (and save their business) they started building software to make their sales reps more productive – and it worked. Though traction was slow and they were running out of cash: they needed to sell more. GroupTalent was a revolutionary new recruitment platform (think Hired), they built an initial product, joined Techstars and started selling. He quits Microsoft, dives into the Seattle underworld of startup hopefuls… and bumps into a gentleman by the name of Andrew Kinzer. He wants to build something that he loves. He’s bored trying to “shill” the latest Windows phone to South America. It’s August 2011 in Seattle and Manny is bored.
